Jacinta Walker
Clinical Psychologist BSocSci(Psych)(Hons), MPsych (Clinical) MAPS Maroochydore Office Jacinta is a Clinical Psychologist who has a passion for developing a collaborative space in which clients can create change by overcoming the life challenges they are facing. She has a flexible, down to earth and compassionate approach, and is skilled in tailoring interventions to suit each individual’s goals, life circumstances, and strengths. Jacinta works with clients of all ages and has a particular interest in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, anger management, low self-esteem, grief and loss, and LGBTIQA+ mental health. She utilises a range of evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness. Jacinta is also an experienced Board Approved Supervisor with Clinical Endorsement

Rachel Aves
Psychologist BSci (Psyc), BSocSc (Psyc) (Hons), MProfPsyc Maroochydore Office Rachel is a warm, compassionate psychologist who enjoys finding creative ways to connect and work with clients in a collaborative, safe space. She appreciates that every client is unique with their own experiences to share and aspirations to reach. She aims to bring a flexible, tailored approach to evidence-based practice, exploring and managing clients' concerns through treatments such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing, and interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT). She also has experience in AOD counselling and grief counselling. Rachel works with adults and adolescents and has a special interest in helping clients experiencing mood and anxiety disorders, low self-esteem, and grief and loss.

Maria Gutierrez Amigo
Provisional Psychologist BPysch, MPsych(Clinical) MAPS Maroochydore Office Maria is a Provisional Psychologist finalising her sixth year of studies to become a registered Psychologist. Maria is passionate and enthusiastic about supporting people to achieve psychological well-being and to make long-term positive changes to their lifestyle and mental health focusing on the therapeutic alliance. She has experience working with children and adolescents with acute mental health issues, and with adults experiencing stress, chronic pain, depression and anxiety using up to date evidence-based interventions. Maria is also experienced working with people with disabilities. She is a qualified Yoga Teacher and believes in a holistic approach to mental health. Maria delivers psychological interventions in English, Spanish, and Catalan.

Bianca Andreasen
Provisional Psychologist BSocSc (Psyc) (Hons), MProfPsych, MAPS Gympie Office Bianca is a Provisional Psychologist, which means she is in her sixth year of training to become a fully registered Psychologist. She has a strong interest in working with people who are experiencing depression and anxiety. Bianca also has a particular interest in working with people with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She has a friendly and empathic approach and a strong commitment to evidence-based practises. Bianca practices from our Gympie office. Please note that Bianca is not able to offer Medicare rebates on sessions.

Colleen Tully-Wilson
Provisional Psychologist BPsych, MAPS Maroochydore Office Colleen comes to Lifespan Health with diverse experience supporting people in different life stages. She brings warmth and empathy to the delivery of evidence-based treatments for a wide range of psychological and social difficulties that people experience. As a mature-age student, Colleen completed her Bachelor of Psychology at the University of the Sunshine Coast with Class 1 Honours and was awarded a University Medal for Academic Excellence. Alongside her work for Lifespan Health in Maroochydore, Colleen is studying for her Master’s degree in Psychology (Clinical) and provides counselling and mental health support for residents in aged care on the Sunshine Coast.

Chloe is our lovely clinical triage officer and administrative supervisor. She will assist you in feeling welcomed to our office with her easy, professional manner. Chloe is a registered psychologist so she understands the importance of ensuring your visits are stress free from the initial scheduling of your appointment to answering any enquiries you might have. Chloe shares our values of providing quality services at every level of our business.
Chloe Stoodley
Administration Assistant Chloe is one of our caring administration assistants. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Psychology so has a good understanding of working in a psychology practice. She is looking forward to using her degree in practice in the future, and has a strong interest in working with people with eating disorders and positive psychology. Chloe has a positive and friendly outlook and is eager to help.

Administration Assistant Elle is one of our helpful administration assistants. She has a warm and friendly nature and is happy to help with any questions you may have. Elle is currently completing her Certificate III in Business Administration and has a passion for supporting the health and wellbeing of people.

Jan Murray
Registered Nurse, Midwife, and Child & Family Health Nurse

Jan is an RN, Midwife, and Child & Family Health Nurse who has extensive experience working in the community, public and private hospitals, remote indigenous communities and private practice. Jan has a strong interest in working with parents, babies and toddlers to build strong and healthy foundations for the future. Jan is warm and personable with a holistic, practical solution-based approach to parenting the early years. Jan draws on her wide professional and personal knowledge to bring confidence to parents with young children. Jan lived on the Sunshine Coast with her husband and four children from 2002 and relocated to Hobart in 2016. In Hobart, Jan works in private practice and at the Mother Baby Unit, St Helen’s Private Hospital and travels to Sunshine Coast on a regular basis.
